This is THE EVENT to attend if you are interested in learning more about falconry from the pre-apprentice or apprentice perspective. This workshop will answer many of the questions individuals new to the sport often ask about.

You will be able to meet a number of active Michigan falconers and their hawks, look at the construction and design of a falconers mews (hawk house), make some falconry equipment to take home and have opportunity to ask many questions!

Basic Mew Design, Construction and Considerations.

Basic Raptor Housing and Care

Apprentice/Sponsor Contracts

Legal and Ethical Considerations

Basic Falconry Equipment Construction (anklets, jesses, leashes)
